Required Materials

  • Other: Moderate amount of ice cubes (added according to personal preference).

Put Kia seeds into a small bowl, add 100 ml of milk, stir well, let Kia seeds fully absorb the milk, swell into gel, and set aside for standby. This process takes about 15-20 minutes.

Chop almonds and other nuts into small pieces for later use. If frozen blueberries are used, they should be thawed in advance or fresh blueberries should be used directly, washed and drained of water.


Production steps


Put the processed blueberries and chopped nuts into the blender.
Add the already soaked chia seeds and milk mixture, then pour in the remaining 100 milliliters of milk. If you prefer a sweeter taste, you can add 2-3 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup, and then add 1-2 drops of lemon juice (lemon juice can be added or not, it can add a fresh sour taste to the milkshake and balance the sweetness).
Start the blender and mix all the ingredients into a delicate milkshake like texture. If the milkshake is too thick, you can add some milk or water in moderation to adjust the consistency; If you feel it's not sweet enough, you can also add a little more honey or maple syrup.
After stirring evenly, add an appropriate amount of ice cubes according to personal preference and stir again for a few seconds to make the milkshake even more refreshing. However, if using frozen blueberries, ice cubes can also be omitted to avoid the milkshake being too cold and affecting the taste.
