Best OverallZulay Kitchen Cast-Iron Orange Juice Squeezer
|
pros:
cons:
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – 5/5 (Amazing!) |
This commercial grade juicer from Zulay utilizes gravity and leverage to extract as much juice as possible with just one pull of the handle. Favored by many bartenders, this juicer is perfect for mass pressing citrus fruits of any size, from limes to grapefruits. It also comes in a variety of colors to choose from, so you can easily go ahead and pick your favorite color based on your preferences.
In testing, you won't need to do any additional arm workouts to get the most out of your citrus, as the body of this product is heavily made of cast iron, which gives it some weight. We do wish the juicer lifted up a bit so we could put taller containers underneath.

Best HandheldZulay Kitchen Metal Lemon Squeezer |
pros:
cons:
⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ – 4/5 (Pretty Good) |
If you have a small kitchen, the hand-held Zulay Kitchen Metal Lemon Squeezer
The Citrus Squeezer is ideal for squeezing lemons to make lemon juice. We tested the lemon size juicer and it squeezed lime and lemon juice perfectly, but not orange juice because it has a relatively small calibre, so it's not suitable for squeezing larger fruits.
As this juicer is portable and lightweight, you can place it on top of the food you are preparing and this juicer is also dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. It's an easy to use piece of cookware. The only caveat is that if you plan to juice a lot of fruit, your hands may get tired after using it for a while.

FAQS:
How do you use a citrus juicer?
For best results, roll your citrus fruit on a countertop or cutting board and use the weight of your hand to gently squeeze the fruit to help the flesh release its juice. Then cut the fruit in half crosswise to expose the segments. For juicers with a reamer, place the centre of the cut citrus fruit on the pointed end and continue juicing according to the manufacturer's instructions. For hand-operated squeeze juicers, you should also cut the skin off the ends of the fruit and place it in the bowl of the juicer with the large end up, then squeeze the handles together to squeeze out all the juice.
Do you peel citrus before juicing?
With dedicated citrus juicers, there is no need to peel your fruit. All you need to do is cut your citrus fruit in half (crosswise) to expose the flesh. From there you can use your juicer according to the instructions in your manual. If you're using a regular juicer (a centrifugal or masticating type), consult the juicer's manual to see how it handles citrus.
How do you clean a citrus juicer?
For best results, clean your juicer as soon as you've finished using it. Although citrus juice helps to keep things clean, you will still need to run any removable parts under running water (or in the dishwasher if the manufacturer recommends it). Fortunately, most electric juicers have a simple design that makes them easy to clean. Many manual juicers are also dishwasher safe. Wooden reamers should be washed by hand, and heavy lever juicers can usually be wiped down with a damp cloth. As always, check the manufacturer's instructions for specific cleaning instructions for your juice
